Shea Satan

NEW YOUTH PROJECT!!

Shea Satan is about to begin!!

We'll all have a casual discussion about a theme once a month!

What will we find by collecting everyone's experiences? Let's do a big experiment!!

Sia Satan means to study in Malaysian.

Through the preparations for the Kanto-Koshinetsu team at MYC, we made hypotheses based on our experiences, conducted experiments, made new discoveries, and then drew out new experiences. I realized how comfortable it was to have a place where such a chain reaction could occur, through the process of talking.

In order to continue this kind of space, we would like to carry out a "loose" experiment with people of all generations from all over the country as a single project.

That is Shea Satan!!

Thoughts on Shea Satan

Last year, I felt that there are things that can only be drawn out by people gathering together in the Kanto Koshinetsu region for the Multilingual Youtu Camp in Chubu. What we think, what we want to talk about, what we want someone to listen to. The members who gather at the MYC Kanto Koshinetsu LINE preparatory meeting are a diverse group, some of whom have a place to talk and some of whom don't. Still, I wanted to leave a comfortable place where people can be and talk about anything, so I started the Shea Satan project!

As we were able to experience through the preparations we made within the MYC Kanto Koshinetsu LINE Group, we were able to discover the excitement of drawing on and connecting our experiences, formulating hypotheses and conducting experiments based on the "natural science of language and humans" from a new perspective. We would like to further connect with other youth, spread youth activities to more people and families, and let them know about them!

Even though they have a lot of experiences, they are all too "natural" for them. I believe that if these young people can ask simple questions and put their experiences into words, we will be able to find even more interesting things, so I would like to continue this forum. And I would like to be able to share our youth activities with all of our families.

I want to expand it to create a place where people of all generations can think more deeply and equally. I want to create and expand a place where people want to talk deeply, where they can listen honestly without being boxed in, and where they can discover themselves from there.

And there are two important things!

1. Record it!

For the Kanto region, which has a large number of youth organizations, I feel that it has not been easy to consistently "leave" records of activities in any youth activities, or to "connect" what has been learned through youth activities to the next generation of youth and families. This time, I would also like to make a karuta card game.

② "Loose"

The underlying theme is to hold the event once a month in a relaxed atmosphere (laughs).

This is not about lowering the hurdles of the project, but about the low hurdles to start with, such as experiments, discussions, and even gathering on a screen to talk.

I want to cherish things like that, drifting around without restrictions and suddenly finding something.
